  8. Compound adjectives, also called unit modifiers, are words

  11. that work together as a unit to modify a noun or pronoun. A

  14. "quick-thinking speaker" is not a quick speaker or a thinking

  17. speaker, but a speaker who thinks quickly. Although they

  23. composed of adverbs, nouns, participles, and even verbs.
